"Jersey's compact size facilitates a tight feedback loop with industry, to quickly test, adapt and launch nascent digital services. This is backed by solid technology infrastructure and a growing skilled workforce."

Tell us a little bit about your idea and your journey to coming up with it.

Recognising that a significant portion of Jersey’s CO2 emissions, 41% in 2021, came from travel, we identified a gap in addressing the collective responsibility of individuals and organisations towards sustainable travel.

Incorporating global emissions standards and local planning regulation, we designed a subscription-based corporate and residential mobility platform tightly integrated into EVie’s existing app and services.

The platform will offer streamlined onboarding, gamify sustainable travel habits, and provide comprehensive reporting whilst promoting active, eco-friendly commuting.

How will Impact Jersey help your project grow further? Where will you take your project after Impact Jersey?

We will re-invest revenue generated from the platform to design, build and publish additional features, prioritised by feedback from organisations and residential requirements.

With the forecasted increase in local housing units, and corporate obligations to provide alternative travel options/subsidies, it is expected that the platform’s scope will see considerable growth over time.

What makes Jersey a great place for innovative projects?

Jersey’s compact size facilitates a tight feedback loop with industry, to quickly test, adapt and launch nascent digital services. This is backed by solid technology infrastructure and a growing skilled workforce.

What does innovation mean to you?

Reimagining the familiar to spark positive change. Our platform’s goal is to help reshape how Jersey moves.
