We’re thrilled to announce Good Boost as one of the grant recipients of our CareTech Challenge! This UK-based organisation has secured funding to transform community spaces across Jersey into hubs for healthy ageing, mobility, and independence.

A.I.-Powered Rehabilitation and Prevention

Good Boost’s innovative solution leverages artificial intelligence (A.I.) to deliver personalised rehabilitation, pre-habilitation, and prevention programmes tailored to the unique needs of older adults. Designed to support both land-based and aquatic exercises, their programmes are as effective as face-to-face physiotherapy, enabling clinically robust care in accessible community settings.

Key Features include:

  • Personalised Programmes: AI-generated exercise plans tailored to individual health conditions, pain levels, and goals.
  • Land and Water Integration: Options for land-based or aquatic exercises, the latter ideal for pain management and weight-bearing challenges.
  • Rugged Technology: Bespoke waterproof tablets for seamless delivery in diverse venues like pools, gyms, care homes, and libraries.
  • Group Sessions: Mixed-ability classes combining personalised exercises with the social and emotional benefits of group interaction.

Good Boost’s tech ecosystem also includes gamified rehabilitation tools like RetroRehab, which uses A.I.-powered computer vision for interactive exercise games, and HydroPower, a digital paddle system that tracks progress in aquatic rehabilitation.
